Don't forget to recycle your Christmas tree! Trees will be collected on your regular trash day from January 3 - January 14, 2011. Remove the tree stand and all decorations, and please do not put the tree in a plastic bag. If you still have leaves to recycle, please use the leaf bag collection program listed below. The last leaf bag collection will be Monday, January 10th!
Leaf Bag Collection
To recycle your leaves, place leaves in biodegradable bags only. Do not use plastic bags! Leaf bags will be collected on the next business day after your regular trash collection day through Friday, January 14, 2011, Mon. - Fri. including holidays, except Christmas and New Year's Day. Note: If your trash is collected Friday, your last leaf bag will be collected Monday, January 10th. There will be no collection on January 17th. The biodegradable bags will not be collected at other times of the year. Get free leaf bags at several locations around the county, through January 7, while supplies last.
